Veveriet (the Weaving mill) is a former textile factory located in the center of Ålgård in Gjesdal municipality. The building stock is over 100 years old and refers to an important part of the historic industrial environment in the municipality.

The property was significantly renovated throughout 2019, and the official reopening where all floors of the building were put into use took place in February 2020. Veveriet is 100% leased to Gjesdal municipality and houses a number of cultural activities such as a health centre, library, cultural school and youth centre.
